Memory foam mattresses should not be steam- cleaned as the heat of the steam can damage the foam material. If the mattress is soiled with bodily fluids, lightly spray the spot with an enzymatic cleaner. You can find enzymatic cleaners in pet supply stores and often even in your grocer's pet care aisle. Allow the cleaner to soak into the spot for about 20 minutes, then gently blot the spot with a clean cloth or towel that is dampened with clean water. Once you have thoroughly blotted the spot, use a clean, dry towel to blot at the spot until it is as dry as possible. Continue to allow the mattress to dry fully before replacing mattress pads, sheets, and other bedding. It is important to not soak the mattress during cleaning. Damp cleaning should do the trick.
If you do buy a Stearns and Foster mattress the salesperson will urge you to buy the 'complete mattress set', which means buying the boxspring as well. Personally, I think a mattress that costs as much as an S and F should give perfectly adequate support without needing the help of a boxspring. However, the decision is yours but I can't help feeling boxsprings are superfluous and are sold for one reason only; to make more money for the manufacturer and retailer.
Who looks at your under garments, seriously, why do people buy 100% underwear or silk underwear, I don't know anything about women's lingerie- but I know those items can get excessive too. What is the difference between buying a 100% cotton shirt and polyester shirt? Or a super 180s wool suit and a polyester suit? Simple the polyester gets you HOT!
