Beginning in the late 1990s, Night and Day Furniture was founded by Mike Gallawa. His simple goal was to create futon frames that could be converted easily from sofa to bed, making sure bolts can be lined up and ensuring that there is less hardware for the end user to have to deal with. Night and Day Furniture solved these issues with several patented features found throughout the Night and Day Furniture line.
You may not know it, but bed bugs are comparable to small vampires that suck on the blood of people. They live in a lot of places, but beds are considered one of their favorites. They're nocturnal creatures, popping out to prey on their hosts in the dark, which customarily allows them to go unobserved. They normally eat for approximately five minutes after which they withdraw back to their hidden home, leaving their human hosts with skin irritations, inflammation, and the need to scratch.
When a new mattress is purchased and delivered, the consumer can usually opt to have the mattress store haul away the old mattress and box spring. There is usually a fee involved, though some Los Angeles mattress stores offer this as a free service incentive to draw in buyers. If the customer does not want to pay a removal fee, there are other ways to recycle old mattresses, mostly be reusing them in whole or in part. Reusing is the best way to recycle materials, and often comes with its own cost benefits.
4. Know when it is time to buy a new mattress. Most mattresses have a life span of about 7 years. If a mattress sags in the middle or if it is no longer comfortable, it is time for a new mattress. Putting a board under a sagging mattress is only a short-term fix.
